Edible Austin Eat Drink Local Week
Saturday, December 7- 14
Various locations around Austin
Edible Austin launched Eat Drink Local Week seven years ago to encourage restaurants to source locally and support Central Texas farms. Amazingly enough, so many restaurants use local ingredients that they had to change it up!
For this year’s Eat Drink Local Week (EDLW), they challenge the community not only to continue supporting locally sourcing restaurants but also to bring it a little closer to home by cooking a few meals throughout the week entirely with local ingredients. For more information on 2013 EDLW, visit edibleaustin.com/eatdrinklocal. EDLW benefits the Sustainable Food Center and Urban Roots.
